Friday is here! Weekend is up ahead and there's lots to check out on TV. The NHL regular season wraps up this weekend. "The Kennedys" mini-series begins on History Channel Canada on Sunday. And Saturday Night Live is lookin' like a good one. The host is Helen Mirren (her new movie with Russell Brand "Arthur" opens today by the way), and the Foo Fighters are the musical guest. Oh yeah, 2 quick facts, Foo Fighter founder Dave Grohl will now hold the record for most musical appearances on SNL. He's been on the show with Nirvana, Them Crooked Vultures, Tenacious D, Tom Petty, and of course the Foo Fighters. And, one more...Dave came to fame as the drummer of Nirvana, it was today's date in 1994 frontman Kurt Cobain was found dead at his Seattle home. Hard to believe it's been 17 years.
