These Are The Things I Think About -- Oct 24th-31st

It was an interesting week to wrap up October.

A little closure for Amy Winehouse fans. It has been confirmed Ms. Crackhouse died this summer after consuming too much alcohol. How much? Over 5 times the legal limit, 5 times!!..Certainly enough to kill anyone, Amy’s death is officially noted as “death by misadventure”…if you had “smothered by Beehive” sorry, no dice.

More news from the music world, Paul McCartney is apparently converting to Judaism. His new wife Nancy is a practicing Jew and Sir Paul has told friends his conversion to the faith is underway. And, I hear he’s also changing titles of famous Beatles songs too…
A few examples: "All Together Now" will be come "All Kosher Now"…"Helter Skelter" will be renamed "Helter Chanuka"…"Hey Jude" is now "Hey Jew"

The World Series has wrapped up, and did you know, baseballs are weighed 5 times before being used in a World Series game. Yep, each weighed 5 times to make sure they’re up to spec…You gotta wonder if they do the same with the Umpires! BOO-YAH!!

And here’s a cool Guinness World Record, the “Largest Margarita Ever Made” has been created by non-other then Jimmy Buffet. All for the grand opening of his Casino in Las Vegas (really, Jimmy Buffet has a Casino?!)…The record setting Margarita was 31 feet tall, containing 8500 gallons worth of booze…They Amy Winehouse sized it!…What, too soon?!

Happy Halloween!! - Gilmore

--Oh P.S. Cassette Tapes are making a comeback. Remember, I called it years ago with Vinyl! Good or bad, mark my words on the Cassettes.

P.S.S.
--bonus points if you’re keeping score at home: those were all songs Paul wrote--
