We kicked off the week with “Cyber Monday”, the internet version of “Black Friday”. A day you could shop online for huge deals. Plus you avoid the Pepper Spray, Gunshots and Tramplings traditional Black Friday shopping offers...Oh yeah, and being able to shop in your gitch is always a bonus!
In sports, the Toronto Maple Leafs proved they indeed are the centre of the hockey universe. Once again, they are the most valuable franchise in the NHL…Deal with it haters!…The new list is out from Forbes, the Leafs are worth 521 million dollars. The New York Rangers are second and Montreal Canadians are in at 3rd. And you know Gary Bettman would somehow argue Phoenix is doing better then all of them…. Go Leafs Go!
Up next beer. Remember Hanson?…sadly we do. Well, the former boy band brothers are coming out with their own beer. And, ripping off the title of their biggest hit, they are calling the beer “MMMhop”….I hear just like their music, the Hanson beer will be weak and unpalatable*.
And finally, it was on Tuesday’s date 36 years ago the term ‘Micro-soft’ first appeared. It was in a letter from Bill Gates to company co-founder Paul Allen...You’d think it would be about the business. But, I hear it was actually about a hot date gone horribly wrong... Zing!

--P.S. Little extra this week from some useless trivia I learned:
Where is the windiest place on earth?…The correct answer is Antarctica.
..And all this time I was certain it was the bathroom at Taco Bell!
P.S.S. --(*-unpalatable, good word!)
