NHL Hockey is back*. Thank goodness, as American Idol returned to TV this week as well. Whether you are mad at the League & Players or not, following the lockout, be very glad you have something to change the channel too away from the Idol cesspool.
Also on TV this week, a 2 part interview between Oprah and Lance Armstrong aired. Right out of the gate in Part I, Lance spilled the beans and finally admitted to drug doping, lying, and cheating during his time as a competitive cyclist. After that, you had to be a little concerned going into Part II, what other terrible behaviours would he admit to?…Does Lance Armstrong like to beat puppies?
A guy who stalked & harassed Avril Lavigne for 2 years was sentenced in court this week. The stalker, of course is Chad Kroger; and the punishment for being interested in Avril Lavigne?...you have to marry Avril Lavigne.
Just like Motorhead, AC/DC are launching their own line of headphones. The headphone company’s press release gladly stated the design is compatible with the iPhone & the iPad…Wait a second!, did they come up with this in an idiot meeting something?…How could they not be compatible, it’s called a headphone jack!
Finally, from my “only in Japan” file, which we really don’t visit enough, do we. A business in Tokyo is offering human ass pillows for rent. For 10 dollars a minute, people are now paying to lay down with their head on a woman’s butt...Like I said, only in Japan. Not only is this story weird, but it sounds risky too, how do you know the woman hasn’t had beans for lunch?, just sayin'!
