These Are The Things I Think About -- May 5th-11th

First things first, happy Mother’s Day to all the Moms this Sunday. You’ll have a fantastic day I hope. 

Also this Sunday, May Sweeps ends on TV, so expect to see the TV schedules to change soon, as shows struggling in the ratings will be given the boot. One rumoured to be on the chopping block was longtime Law Order spin-off 'SVU', it however has been renewed. Ice-T won’t be going back to rapping for at least another year. 

It was a scary week for fans of Jared Fogle --whoever they would be--, best known as Subway spokesperson Jared. Yeah that guy. Internet rumour was he died. Nope, it was just a hoax, those Subway sandwiches haven’t killed him yet. Jared is alive and living off his sweet sweet Subway money, while you go to work everyday. Such a feel good story, right. 

Some details on this year’s Much Music Video Awards are being announced. Imagine Dragons, and Lorde will perform at this year's show, that’s kinda cool. Most surprising though, I’m sure you agree, Much Music still plays videos?!..If they have awards based on them they must at somepoint, we can only assume. 

To movie news, the working title for the new Star Wars movie is out. It’s called Star Wars: "The Ancient Fear”. Let’s hope this a working title only. Dear Star Wars: Might want to have some folks working on that one, just saying’ 

And word is they are rebooting the Lethal Weapon* franchise with Thor, a.k.a. actor Chris Hemsworth. Really?!! Not sure about you, my thoughts though when it comes to Lethal Weapon becoming yet another Hollywood movie remake**…"I’m getting too old for this shit"
